RE:     Letter of Attestation

To whom it may concern,

We, -------, and -----, both currently working and living in Singapore for 10 and 6 years respectively and are siblings, are writing this Letter of Attestation in support for Junard and Richie as their friends and former housemates in Singapore, in the address mentioned above.

We have known Junard since January 2014 when he moved to our apartment to occupy the master bedroom. Our first impression of him was a jolly and very enthusiastic kind of person. We came to know him better as we all stayed in 1 roof for the last 4 years. He was quiet but at the same time very sociable, we all had a very good relationship within our apartment as we gave mutual respect to one another. Junard was a very cooperative housemate and we did not have any problem with him at all, in fact, he was very kind and a generous person as well.

In June 2016, we met Richie when he first visited Junard and stayed in our apartment. Richie was very friendly and always had a smile on his face and with a contagious positive attitude. Since then, Richie has been visiting Junard here in Singapore for at least every other month and his duration of stay ranged from a few weeks to a month in the last 2 years (2016 to 2018). Almost like a regular resident in the household, we included Richie in our monthly bills (water, electric and gas) as per our rule concerning sharing of houseful bills.

We consider Junard and Richie as family friends and we enjoyed celebrating holidays with them. Some of the celebrations we had were Chinese New Year 2018 and Junard’s birthday in April 2018. They usually celebrate Christmas and New Year holidays travelling overseas like Thailand and Japan. There was one time where we got to spend New Year’s Day 2018 with them; it was Richie’s first time celebrating the holiday away from his family who resides in the Philippines. Nevertheless, we could see and feel how genuinely happy he was that he spent it with Junard. This was one of those moments you would realize how deeply they cared for each other and how happily committed they are in their relationship.

On April 2018, Junard and Richie decided to move to another apartment, even though it was sad that they had to leave, we can attest that their relationship was genuine, we could see how dedicated they were to each other considering the struggle of a long-distance relationship. Such could be really tough as it takes enormous amount of money and effort for both sides to maintain the relationship. We are glad to hear that they are planning the next stage of their relationship to finally being together for good and we could only wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

We hereby declare that the details furnished above are true and correct to the best of our knowledge and belief and you are welcome to contact us on the above mentioned address, contact no. and email address and we will be happy to answer any other question you may have or if you need further information.

Sincerely,
