im in the process of the K1 visa.  my fiance is in the PH and our baby is due in June.  i have 6 months leave at work and I wanted to know whats the general processing time for a CRBA?  if its over 6 weeks I have to go back to the US to my job.  Is there anyway I can speed up the processing time and what information do I need to get a CRBA?  the website is confusing because it says I need a birth certificate but it can't be one from a hospital.  when the baby is born can I just go to the US embassy in PH and apply or is there another process?  if I have to go back to the US can I do everything from the US or do I have to be in Manila?

Of course you can do things from the USA as well. You will need the birth certificate from the PSA after the baby is born in order to file for CRBA.
