I-751 check cashed time

5 posts in this topic

Just wondering what the normal amount of time is for anyone recently from when your I-751 was received to when your check was cashed?

How long before you received the letter extending the green card?

Our petition went to the Dallas lock box.

Thank you!

How about the letter extending the green card?

Our check cashed today, it went in on just Monday so only four business days. :) I assume if they cashed it that means they must have accepted our petition for processing. We sent in over 400 pages of evidence, quite a packet!

So it looks like USCIS is running well in January 2019 at least for the check cashing and through the Dallas lock box.

The extension letter should be 2-4 weeks for the majority of recent filers.  400 pages though, that sounds like absolute overkill!
