Have not received NOA for CR-1 petition filed 1 month ago

My CR-1 petition was confirmed to be delivered by FedEx to the Chicago lockbox of USCIS on December 18. It's now almost one month later, and based on what I've read...it seems I should have heard something by now? How can I follow up?

With the holidays, who knows. I would wait until 30 days mark and give them a call. Have they cashed the check?

Don't worry too much yet.  If Fedex delivered it you are good.  Check to see that the check was cashed.  This delay at this end won't impact the timeline.  All they do at the dropbox is take the money and do a very cursory check for signatures.  After that it is sent to the service center.  The service center won't even look at it for 5 or 6 months.

 

Try to see if the check was cashed.  Did you include a G-1145 form?
