Has your case ever gotten an update going into “administrative processing” ? Or has it always been on “ready”  ?

It was administrative processing after the interview. They received 221g docs and then turned to ready for interview (do your medical whatsover) a few days after. There were a few update on the date. And then on the 19th it changed to ready-follow interview sched by nvc. How about yours?

It changed to admin processing after the interview as well. Consulate requested 2 documents from him plus his passport, to be sent via courier. (He left interview with white 221g paper).

Consulate received papers and passport  2 weeks after the interview. The case is not in a 221g status but it’s confirmed by them, having received the documents we sent. After that , the “last update” date has changed twice in the following 2 weeks. No update as of today. Status still reads “administrative processing” with “immigrant visa application”

my fiancee in Brazil had her interview Sept. 4. The status was AP until Nov. 26. And since Nov 26 it has been "ready". Periodically the date is updated (about once a week). Contacted the Consulate and even went there in person but they say it is still under AP and just continue to wait.

Was she given 221g missing docs?

she was verbally informed that her visa was approved and would be issued within 2 weeks. about a week later she got an email notifying of AP and asking for additional information.....destinations in the past 15 years, addresses in the past 15 years, sibling names, prior passport numbers, and brief job description.

I am 9 months AP after I am ready to read 1 day after publish but it does 3 that the embassy does not call
