Well... they tried to wait until the last possible day... lol but got notification that my interview was scheduled today!

Congratulations! You'll probably have your interview on either July 1, 2 or 3. Nice thing with Jax as your place for oath taking is they have ceremonies at least once a month. If you don't have a name change, you might be lucky enough to be naturalized within the same month! Best wishes.

That would be great! I’m a guy, so no name change!

Another ? For you... do you happen to know if there is a schedule for the ceremonies? I can only find the courthouse one, and not USCIS.

Sorry, no idea re: USCIS schedule but I assumed some people had their ceremonies (that were definitely not courthouse scheduled) in Jax that were only 11-39 days after interview. I'm assuming it's because their residence is covered by Jacksonville. Ask your IO how soon you can get your oath. I thought I could get my oath anywhere but my IO said that I have to do it in my hometown.

Ohhh I gotcha. I live in Valdosta (~2 hours away). I just assumed it would be in Jacksonville.

You can ask the IO at the interview whether it's going to be Jax, Valdosta or somewhere else. You never know, it could be Jax! I had my oath in Tallahassee which only holds nat ceremonies every 2 months.

by the way congratulation , and I think they will let you come to Jax I am living closed to Gainesville  i ask if i can go to gainesville they said no i gotta do in jax court house

Well, was supposed to have my interview today. When they called me up, they had to cancel as they haven’t received my I751.

I am sorry this happened. I hope it wont be another long wait. I was hoping that your post was going to be about your experience. Did they give you any idea of the time frame for rescheduling?

I wonder if it's possible to call once in a while and ask if JAX already has your packet?

 

When I did my consular processing in 2013, I went ahead and rescheduled the interview appt that NVC gave me, not knowing that NVC sends the orig packet to the embassy. Even at that time I thought that they just scan the whole thing and sends the embassy a pdf file or gives online access to a file. When I went on the rescheduled date,  an embassy personnel immediately told me that the packet isn't there yet and gave me a phone number to call  I ask them if they won't mind me calling every Fri. Three Fridays later,  my packet arrived so I was able to schedule to a still earlier date than the orig.

 

I hope your packet is on its way to JAX already and have your interview soon!
