Renew 5 years Visa Exemption Certificate.

Anyone knows how to renew 5 years Visa Exemption Certificate?  Do I need to resubmit all documents requirement for Vietnam Embassy in US (SF).

If you live Vietnamese community, let travel agent helps you with it. It around $80. Otherwise you need to fill out and print the online form and submit accompanied documents.

Before you send your application, always call VN embassy for quote price. Don't use the posted fee.

Thanks Andy.  I called the VN Embassy.  The guy wasn't helpful.  I had my old 5 years Visa Exemption on my US passport, and would like to know how to Renew it.

Vietnamese travel agent.  About $100.  Let them take care of it.

 

The Vietnamese Consulate in SF is worthless.  They never answer the phone.  When they do, they still give you the wrong information.  Waste of time.

VN embassy now also issues a 5 yrs visa exemption booklet. Try calling VN travel agents in the US if you don't live near a VN community and ask them if you can send a copy of the requested docs. They would ask you for birth cert if you are a Vietnamese national; otherwise you need to provide marriage cert and birth cert presumed that you are a US born citizen.

Thank you for your info.  I am from So. Cal, and will let the Agency take care of this for $100.  Calling VN embassy in US (SF) as Aaron2020 is useless.  I called last week and yesterday not helpful at all.
