Requirement of I-693 For K1 Adjustment

Hello everyone,

I'm a long time visitor of these forums, and have found so much useful information here since before I even applied for my K1 visa, but I do apologise in advance if this question has been answered. I am currently in the United States, already married to my petitioning USC, and we just received our appointment date for my adjustment interview. On the letter, it states that it is a requirement that I bring my completed I-693 form. Now I was always under the impression that because I came over on the K1 (which has a mandatory physical), that this was waved. I have all my vaccinations and TB x-ray documented, along with the disk that I was required to bring with me upon entry into the United States, so is this exam still required? I would like to avoid it, because with only one income (I haven't received my EAD, which might sound surprising considering that our interview is within 3 weeks) I would like to avoid any unnecessary fees, but also I don't want to risk my application by not having the required documentation. I have already scheduled an appointment with a certified physician for this week, and my exams in Australia were done in June of 2018.

Any advice would be appreciated and I hope everyone reading has a fantastic day
