Dear All

Has anyone had any experience with the below?

"The Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) returned your case to a USCIS office for review."

This was the latest message received after both visa and appeal were refused. I will be reapplying if returned but this seems to be something out of the blue.

No experience with it, but it seems like a good thing for you.

What We Do

Petitioners and applicants for certain categories of immigration benefits may appeal a negative decision to the AAO. We conduct administrative review of those appeals to ensure consistency and accuracy in the interpretation of immigration law and policy.

Appeal Process

Initially, the USCIS office that denied the benefit will review the appeal and determine whether to take favorable action and grant the benefit request. If that office does not take favorable action, it will forward the appeal to the AAO for appellate review.

It sounds like they're going to look over your visa/appeal again.

Still no update, other than i tried to ring AAO, EOIR and USCIS and just got passed around.  I think it looks like an administrative error but i have today written letters to all parties, so i will just have to wait and see. I just want closure so that i can re apply for Visa if its denied.
