DS-160 Passport picture

Good morning. i am filling a DS-160 application and i have gotten to the part i will have to upload by passport pic. i have tried for many times and i keep on getting  " Eyes may be obstructed or in shadows". i have changed the picture but still getting the same message. first i was taking the pictures at home with a digital camera and i was getting the same meaaage so i thought i wasnt taking the picture went to see two different professional photographer for my pic to be taken but still am getting the same message" Eyes may be obstructed or in shadows" .. i have been trying for a day and half how. i went online but it wasn't  much of a help. please does anyone have an idea on how to go about it? i would be very grateful cos now am frustrated!

Are you sure you have the correct proportions on the photo - firstly that it is US passport size (differs from almost everywhere else) and secondly that the face is in the correct % of the photo? You may be getting the message because it’s expecting your eyes to be somewhere they’re not.
