After getting a 221g on my interview and complying, I finally got my VISA approved and on hand! I also have my CFO sticker. I'm just wondering about this Immigrant Data Summary Sheet that people are talking about. I do not have a copy of that on hand. Is that something I NEED to have with me?

From what I've read online the Immigrant Data Summary Sheet is attached to the sealed yellow packet. It may be worth noting that I am one of those who got their VISA but will be travelling without the sealed yellow packet (as I wasn't given one).

With the new e-visa there isn't a packet with your case file or Immigrant Data Sheet.  It shouldn't be asked for at POE (they should be up to speed on this by now.).

This e-visa was only started with USEM a short time now.  Much of this is very new ...

Thank you! :) I was getting confused and was about to panic because on the USCIS site, I encountered this as I was paying for the Immigrant fee --> "If you did not receive an immigrant data summary or a USCIS Immigrant Fee handout with your visa packet, please contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate that issued your visa to request a copy."

Wait does everyone have e visa

No.   I have seen it both ways lately.  I thought they had totally switched to the e-visa but then reports came back of still receiving the DO NOT OPEN ENVELOPE.

Be so kind as to post back what you receive.  Thanks

Don't get hung up with the "what IFs"  you will go crazy.

The DO NOT OPEN envelope will arrive with one corner cut.  Many times a small tear starts from that cut, don't let it become a big tear is all you need to do.

At POE your parents will hand over the envelope and ... stand back as the agent will tear it apart.  With my wife papers were flying all over the counter.

Ok hank. My mom inlaw is going through the package. She successfully sent me the immigrant data summary sheet. She’s asking if a copy of immigrant data summary sheet is fine to show at CFO for the PDOS

They ask to see the original.  Bring the original (keep the packet in the plastic for protection)

Ok I’m scheduling my in-laws. But my father inlaw is 63 so I just register him. No need appointment

Correct, 60 + are exempt from attending PDOS.  He only needs to show up to get the sticker in his passport.
