Booking medical before email confirmation from NVC

Hey everyone,

So I called NVC yesterday and they gave me our case number for London and the invoice ID.

I want to call and get my medical appointment with Knightsbridge on Monday and it seems like I might get in there fairly quickly at the moment. My question is I haven't had an email from NVC yet with my case number so the only thing I can do is go onto the case tracker which says at NVC.  Is this proof enough for Knightsbridge because it doesn't list anything except the case number and its status. It doesn't have my name or type of visa.

How soon would I get an email from NVC with our case number if it was allocated yesterday?

I did get an email fro NVC to say they had received our case before the case number was allocated.

Are you prepared for the medical already?

  • Police certificate
  • Health summary printout from GP?
  • All shots received/recorded?
  • Any extra medical report written by GP?

People have used that before.

I thought that was the case after reading things on here but wanted to check I understood it correctly.

I'm hoping that I will receive something from NVC via email with my case number before the actual medical takes place but I wanted to make sure that if all else fails that I could still attend and show that to them and be ok.

Thank you for your quick response.

What they really want is the letter of instruction sent by the embassy to the K1 beneficiary.

What they have allowed as a substitute is the email from NVC or a printout from CEAC.
