Hi Everyone. I have a question regarding Dubai Police Clearance if anyone have ever living there. I applied online through Dubai Police website, and I got the letter via email. However, its written rom the US State Department website (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/UnitedArabEmirates.html) that Available: Only if applicant is physically present in the UAE.

I am lil bit confused as not sure whether the Police Clearance is acceptable or not. Thanks in advance!

Are you in Dubai then you can get your PC. If you are no longer living there then you cannot get a PC from Dubai and in most cases the CO at your interview will know this. But, in the event they don't have this knowledge then print off the page that states the "Available" from the website to bring with you in the event your CO does not know about this issue.

Hi @Greenbaum I dont live there anymore. Thanks for advice! However I sent an email to US embassy here whether I would exempt from obtaining Dubai Police Certificate. thank you sooo much :))

Like I said, if you do not live in Dubai anymore the PC is not necessary and cannot be obtained and the CO's should know this. By bring the copy from the OFFICIAL website that states that then you will not have a problem. Good luck.

You are not the first.   The consular will know that it is not available

YMMV
