Anyone have experience in Brazil with Correios (Brazilian post) delivering your Visa?  How long did it take to receive, what city were you in?

Thanks

General knowledge here in Brazil is that there is a problem with Correios and it is extremely slow. A simple letter from my sister in the USA took 7 weeks to arrive here in Fortaleza. A video capture device I ordered from Ebay in the US took more than 3 months. At least the items arrived. I thought the visa could be sent SEDEX and that you would have a tracking number. I am currently waiting for a certificate from the USA, but I will travel to Texas in three weeks and I doubt it will arrive before I leave... Good luck!

OP, the visa will be sent by fedex which is slightly faster than regular mail, you should be getting it within a week of being sent, even less if it’s a major city.

It’s silly to compare international mail with domestic mail anyway.

No, they are not sent by fedex in brazil.  They use the Brazilian mail service

I meant to say “Sedex” but it autocorrected.

sedex is a faster shipping alternative from correios, that should deliver within 2 business days or so, if you’re in a major city
