Hello,

I am sorry if this is the wrong place to post.

I am trying to get the Police Clearance Certificate ( India) through Online but some of the questions are very confusing and not detailed.

1.Visa Type & Visa Sub-Type
What option should I select under Visa Type and also the Visa Sub-Type.
Example of few visa types listed are  ETOURIST VISA, ENTRY VISA, EMPLOYMENT VISA, MEDICAL VISA, STUDENT VISA ETC
My visa type is CR-1 Visa but I don't see any CR-1 Visa or similar ones like Marriage visa etc

2.  Whether newly born child ( born in India only) - YES or NO
Is the question asking if I have a child born in India or if I was born in India  ? I am born in India

3, Have you surrendered your Indian passport?  Yes or NO
I don't have Indian passport and I am a Tibetan with Tibetan Passport ( I.C) living in India. Should I select Yes or NO

Both question 2 and 3 are very confusing and not detailed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Will include a screen shot of the Police Clearance Certificate form & also the Visa types.

For PCC in India go to https://portal1.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/welcomeLink?request_locale=en

Create a login ID and password and sign in.

Once here, simply choose APPLY FOR POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE and fill the form that appears next.

Pay the fees, select appointment date and so on

You're good to go!
