Security checks

Hey,

 

This seems to be quite common from what I've been researching but does anyone have experience with waiting for security checks? Our receipt date is Feb 28,2018 and we are still waiting for the I-129F to be approved.  We submitted an inquiry and they said they are waiting on security checks and can't make a decision on our case until they recieve them. Is this a normal time frame for processing ?

Yep. Normal. USCIS is taking longer every day. Check the processing times to see what dates are now being processed.

They are already into March so.. hopefully soon , I guess just more waiting 😅

We filled in January and we got our NOA2 2 months ago... you will get yours soon if you filled in march and if they don’t call USCIS and ask i bet they will tell you what’s going on..goodluck

Our receipt date is Feb 28th

Ours took 7 months. Once we got NOA2 though it flies through
