I-864/I-864a please help

Good morning, 

my joint sponsor is  filling  the i-864 form and his wife is going to fill out  i-864a ( filed taxes jointly)  but she hasn’t been working for 6 months now what evidence or documents do i need from her and how should she fill it out since she has no current income but last year she did which it shows on the tax return. Please help. Thank you in advance.

She will provide her tax return from last year. If she has no current income, then she would just state as such on the I-864A. No evidence is required to support that she is not claiming any income.

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

I have another friend who’s willing to be my joint sponsor he is married but separated for years he does not files taxes jointly, does his wife needs to do the i-864a too ?

No, just the I-864 is fine for him.

Note that you only should provide 1 qualified joint sponsor....more than 1 does not help your case and you cannot combine incomes/assets between them.
