Received Correspondence after sending additional evidence

Hello,

I recently found out my wife is pregnant with our child.  A month ago I sent a package to USCIS office in NSC with evidence (Ultrasound, Doctors letter) that wife is pregnant in order to show additional prove that the marriage is bona fide.   I received a correspondence letter explaining that a request for expedited processing was not granted (even though I never asked for it to be expedite) .  It does not mention anything about adding the documentation to my application.  Is this correspondence just a procedure when sending them additional evidence?  Hopefully the documents have been added to my case.

Seems that because so many people send ultrasound pictures and HCG results to request an expedite they automatically assumed that’s what you were asking.

Pregancy is not “proof” that the marriage is bona fide, so don’t rely on it. Focus on primary evidence.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Pregnancy is evidence somebody got pregnant.  It isn't even evidence of who the father is.  If the child is born before the visa is granted, and YOUR name is on the birth certificate, AND you have gone through the process to get the child a Consular Report of Birth Abroad and a US Passport, THEN you have some additional evidence of the bona fides of your relationship.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
