You were at the NVC stage if i remember correctly :-) - IR/CR1 or K1? For my CR1 (Germany) I did not hand in any additional proofs - just the docs they asked for. To my understanding USCIS checks first if your marriage is legal (here you need those proofs) and NVC checks afterwards if you are save concerning finances mostly. So I do not see why they would need additional relationship proofs. But maybe other members here have other experiences and opinions?

Mine is CR1 aswell! So I guess we just have to provide the photo proofs in the interview, for now they just need the financial and supporting docs.

I added some pictures to the packet for USCIS already but I will bring some pictures to the interview as well. I am quite sure we both overthink again. But better to bring too many pictures and documents than missing some :-) atleast thats what I tell myself

FORM I-864EZ AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT

FEDERAL INCOME TAX RETURN AND IRS TRANSCRIPT 2017 for both of us (we filed married jointly since I was in US last year and earned money)

W2 2017 of me

W2 2017 of my Wife

Some documentation for my past J1 visa (they do not check them though so not sure why they need it at all)

Scan of my Passport biographic page (I also scanned my ID and added it in the file too)

Photograph of me for greencard (just 1 file since my case is electronic - else you have to check how many they want)

birth certificate of me (international version with english, german, spanish etc. on it)

marriage certificate (including the apostille from USA since I used it to register my wife as my wife in germany as well)

police certificate (including apostille from germany - not sure if i needed it but i was overthinking 🙂 - not translated)

Thats it all 🙂

as greenbaum told me - it would be good if you add your country and your visa in your profile (click on your name in the right upper corner - profile - add immigration info). Makes it easier for others to help you since they know your visa and can think of country specific details 🙂

While submitting civil and financial documents should I also attach some couple photos or additional proofs to make the case stronger? If yes, then suggest me what additional stuff to submit please!!!

To get the semantics out of the way first, the items you are inquiring about would be evidence, not "proofs".  To answer your question, unless there is evidence you a) personally feel is critical and b) forgot to submit at the USCIS stage then only send the NVC what they ask for; nothing more, nothing less.
