Process going thru US custom at YYZ airport

My wife will be entering US by air from Toronto Pearson airport and flying to Seattle after she gets her passport back from US consulate once she passed interview.  I would like to know if she has to go thru US custom to pass the sealed document to them at the Toronto airport or Seattle airport?  Anyone could share his/her experience on entering to US by air from Toronto airport?  How long it take on the process at the US custom in the airport?  Anything needs to be awarded of?

It'll be in Toronto and it'll be fine! Just make sure you have plenty of layover time because it can take a while. I would suggest booking a flight that allows her at least 2 hours in YYZ to clear immigration. Good luck :)

  • 10/25/2021 Received biometrics waiver (dated 10/21/21)
  • 11/22/2021 Received 24-month extension letter
  • 11/7/2022 Filed N-400 Online
  • 4/6/2023 Naturalization Interview
  • 5/12/2023 Oath Ceremony
