Busy is relative. I thought spending 4 hours there made it busy. I have been there for different kinds of visas and never spent more than an hour there. I don't know for sure, but I bet different kinds of visas have different processing thus the difference in waiting times.

The interviewers at the US embassy in Nairobi are separated depending on the type of visa. Mine was an immigrant visa. The other ones were non-immigrant visa, refugee visa, and I believe the other categories. You might end up with a different interviewer than the one I got but I believe they will still be just as amazing. Best of luck going through this process. Keep us updated on how it all goes. 🤞
