You can schedule the interview as early as you got your Case Number. Now that it is in Transit, it's safe with the timeline so I suggest schedule it asap.

My file also...shipped today.... There are interview slots just 5-7 days out....when you say ASAP.... you mean...10 business days out?????

Being your CEAC status is READY .. if you could complete everything required for the interview within 10 days... you for sure could be done with the interview in short order!

Fiance is trying to reschedule appointment interview.

She was able to make appointment 2 weeks ago, but we were too early for our paperwork had not arrived to embassy as of then.

NVC status is now "in transit", and she even has an email confirmation from NVC that paperwork has been sent to USEM.

We are trying to set up her next appointment online, but we are having problems when entering her receipt number saying error MRV .

Currently we are in Macau.

Could it be that since we are in Macau, that the registration for appointment might not take?

We will back in Manila tomorrow mid day.

Your current location doesn't matter.

So it seems, that since we scheduled our embassy appointment earlier and before the paperwork arrived,  trying to reschedule online we are locked out. Calling is an endless busy signal. I personally went to embassy only to be told that need to call or go through email support.

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA==

Track your case and wait for "Ready" before you start making a date with embassy interview,  or it will cost you time..

Some things take patience,  don't rush like we did..

That is new.   Hmm?  No one has ever had issue with rescheduling when completing this online before.    How many times have you rescheduled?    I think there is something  else going on...

If scheduling by phone, then yes your case file must be at the embassy, CEAC status READY.

So if I wear a nice polo shirt and a nice pair of long jeans to the interview with my fiancee do you think that will be fine?  Or should I wear like Kaki pants instead?

My fiancee' has a friend whos interview was today and she was unable to do the interview because they said they had not received not folder yet from the NVC.  Her CEAC status says ready though.  I assume they are talking about the petition.  Is this an oversight or must we actually wait longer to have interview despite it saying it is ready?

Jumping the gun..put a week plus delay..

Patients, make sure things are in order..

Other good news..

The embassy email me and said, "Your file is now with the U.S. Embassy in Manila and we have had a chance to review it....and so on", but the email is directed for my fiancee, but they email it my email and not hers.  Is this a big deal you think?  We are worried they might have something mixed up?
