Reaffirmed Case

VJ members , pls NVC had sent our reaffirmed case back to the US consular in Accra Ghana , 

 

How long is gonna take to hear from the embassy and what type of preparation should we have to do for this second interview . 

Any advice is well appreciated

Congratulations bro !

 

Hoping it will take's one to three months before you can hear from them , that is what I knew bro . 

 

As for the preparation for the interview , you should gathered all new evidence again a parts from the one's you submitted to USCIS for affirming your case .

Thats a good. My case too is at the Embassy and I am yet to hear from so we can keep each other updated

How long have you been waiting for them to contact you for interview?

Have you checked your email including spam folder?

I was told that they contact through email

I emailed yesterday ...they said they said they have received it and would respond within 2 business days. As soon as I sent the email they gave me another case number and username and password to log into us travel documents customer portal. I will wait for their response before I take any action.

I have her cases where it has taken 3 months for the embassy to contact you I am not at that stage yet my case was just reaffirmed and I'm waiting for it to get to the NVC and for them to transfer it to the Embassy so you are ahead of me but I was told that they contact you once they have enter your case into the system via email to let you know how to set up an appointment online hopefully it will not be too much longer for you this process is a big headache

 I thought this is what you were waiting for the username and password so that you can log on and schedule your interview date if anyone else can give advice on this please chip in but I could have sworn the other post that this is what they send in order for you to set up your interview

Yes is true but as for the NVC it only took a month to inform you either with an email or a letter telling you your case been just completed and they are about to send it to the embassy for the interview.
