k-1 visa: doubts about documents to bring at the interview

Hi guys!

 

My K-1 application was finally approved by USCIS and NVC.

1- I was waiting an email form the Naples Consulate to schedule my interview.

I received the email with no attachments or zip files with instructions. They just redirected me to the general website with instructions. I am worried because I know that other beneficiaries received a zip file with more instructions. What should I do?

 

2- my fiancè and I didn't ask for any help to complete our application but we used a book by Nolo as a reference. In this book it is said that I need the original NOA1 and NOA2 for my interview at the consulate and in order to enter the USA; but the Naples consulates instrucions don't ask for those original NOA1 and NOA2. Can anyone confirm that i need those original documents ? and if this is the case, I am very worried to have my fiancè mailed me those documents from USA to Italy. I mean, they can get lost.. and they are pretty improtant...

take your entire k1 package with ORIGINAL documents plus any originals of mail you have received from USCIS. also copies of originals (2)

 

criminal check/ health check/whatever else your consulate requires. 

 

I-134 + supporting docs for all sponsors/co sponsors (if applicable) cosponsors also need proof of US citizenship.

 

Evidence of ongoing relationship

 

better to have far more than they ask for than to not have what they ask for.
