Still worth going to Infopass Appointment?

So I have an Infopass appointment scheduled in about 3 hours to try to get an emergency AP but I just got a notification that my EAD has been approved (going to call USCIS later to confirm status of AP). Now that it is approved I assume I should have it within 7 days or so, correct?

If so is there still anything I can get out of the infopass like paying for overnight shipping or something like that?

I wouldn't bet on getting ti within 7 days.  Approval does not mean the card itself has been produced.  Personally, I would go to the infopass.

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Thank you, the notice I got this morning was "We are producing your card and will mail it to you.".

I've seen posts from people who waited a month or more after receiving that.......but you might get your card sooner......Personally, I would go to the appointment.  The worst that can happen is for them to tell you to wait.  Best case scenario is that they give you emergency AP as insurance in case your card is delayed.......just my opinion.
