Hi! I couldn't find answer from previous posts, so asking: on EAD renewal, Question #15, which USCIS office was my previous EAD card was filed in...Which one should I put? On my EAD card that card # starts with MSC so I was reading that it means Missouri but I was reading in some posts that have to put Chicago?

2. And what date do I have to put? When I received the card or from what date was it valid till what date?

3. The Eligibility category as I understood is C9 right?

Well nobody really commented on this post with an answer but I figured out that it could be Chicago (you have to see where you sent the first application for EAD) and dates I will put the dates on my EAD from what date it is valid till what date...Eligibility category is C9.

I have been reading older posts and all people say Chicago...Do you have the first document for EAD, the cover page? It should say where you sent the first time... Usually everybody sends to Chicago...Mine also says MSC but I sent to Chicago first time, so I will say Chicago in Question 15...

I talked to tier2 officer she says national benefit center for question 15. Chicago is the mailing address and processing is the national benefit center so we talked to 2 people today they gave the same answer from uscis. And they told us travel document forms should be exactly same. we will mail to chicago as well. Also question 15 dates they said should be the receipt date first time application when they received your first app.not the granted one .

Guys.... The first 3 letters on your EAD card indicate the USCIS Office which has issued your EAD card.

 EAC – Vermont Service Center;
 WAC – California Service Center;
 LIN – Nebraska Service Center;
 MSC – National Benefits Center/Missouri Service Center;
SRC – Texas Service Center

Just put those 3 letter, MSC or whatever,  answering quest.15.  Chicago  - is just a "receiver". But actual cards are issued in one of those listed Offices. Most, usually, by MSC.

Good luck with your renewal!!!
