Im desperate in need of advice

- I filed for ROC jointly in November 2016

- My marriage deteriorated and we physically separated  August 2017.  Filed for divorce September 2017. Divorce finalized May 31st 2018.

- I sent a letter to USCIS informing of pending divorce October 2017.

- May 23, 2018 I received and RFE requesting divorce decree and saying "if you would like to amend to divorce waiver signed the below". I seek advice from a immigration lawyer and he sent divorce decree, but advised not to sign the amendment, instead we sent a cover letter saying that we had filed jointly and the divorce happened after the 2 years of the "conditional period time".

- June 4, 2018 they received the response to RFE

- June 26, 2018 my case has been transferred to NBC so an interview is scheduled.

- July 2017 Im moving to NYC to start a new job, I don't have a permanent address there yet, I will have a permanent address August 1st.

I talked with 3 immigration lawyers in NY, one told me that in his experience Im going to have to file again as a divorce waiver after the interview and pay the fees again, that his last case like this they didn't allowed the person to switch for the waiver in the interview. Other lawyer wants to charge me $1,800 for coming with me to the interview.

after what happened I DONT TRUST LAWYERS ANYMORE :(

Should I change my address the faster possible even if it is for a temporary address in NY while I find my permanent address?

Has anyone switched to divorce waiver during the interview successfully without been denied and having to start from scratch?

PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
