I got a REF for immigration of my parents asking for inclusion of name on birth certificate.:I am a US citizen. 

I filed in september 2017 and got REF in April 2018. I submitted my birth certificate carrying names of my parents and mine in 2nd week of May 2018.

But they have only indicated that they will begin processing of my case at Ptomac. But I have not heard anything though it has been a month since I gave them certificate. My parents are in India.

Can anyone give me an idea how long it takes in such cases.

USCIS, may not respond , However, your case is no longer on hold. I received the same RIFE in March, 2018. What is interesting is that i saw a case with RIFE, once they received the birth certificate, the GC was approved without interview.
