Does anyone know if the current processing times on VJ for the I-130 are based on US citizens or permanent residents petitions?

I am just curious to know as on USCIS website it shows that for Texas they are currently processing 15 September 2017 for US citizens 😞 Is the Website up to date?? Are they seriously only just doing Septembers ? I was having my hopes high as in VJ it shows they are processing 21st November 2017 😟

+1 for this topic. I am wondering the same thing. The other location seems to be inline with US Citizen vs Permanent Resident. Texas has a 2.5-month disparity. I thought it would be reversed and US citizens would get priority.  It has been a very tough 6 months, I was hoping all would be done in 6 months.

I know I also thought it would be the other way round, but I guess not 😟

What I have learnt in my 18 month journey (so far) is that the online processing time information is incorrect, take it with a pinch of salt.

Try not to think about it too much as there is no rhyme or reason to how the USCIS process the petitions, when it's your time you will get your NOA2.

Just don't do what I have done for the past 16 months and check the processing times / case tracker / forums etc. on an hourly basis, it will drive you mad!

Get your self a comfy seat and try and not stress as it's not in your hands... Good luck!

Many thanks for the advice,

I am doing exactly what you did always checking the case tracker etc,  which now I will try not to do ^_^

Let's keep ourselves busy through better alternative ways
