Courier - where/what exactly?

I know you can pick up your visa from a courier once the process is finished - I was just curious if anyone could tell me what location or company is used? We would like to plan our hotel in an area that everything is nearby.

Or, is it something we pick ourselves instead of being assigned?

hopefully this makes some sense LOL. Thanks for any help.

It's DX. You can look on their website for the list of locations.

I picked mine up from DX in Southampton. You can pick the location. I read a post here from someone who chose a location close to Gatwick airport and picked it up 4 hours before boarding the flight.

It won't be available for 7-10 days. Are you planning on being in a hotel that long? You can have it home/work/hotel delivered or pick up at DX locations around the country.

You can pay a fee and have it delivered to your home. I did this with my student visa a few years ago but they had a terrible time finding my house so it ended up being very stressful. This time around i chose to pick it up myself from Bristol and it was a simple and straight forward process. It was worth the drive compared with the stress of the first time around.
