Congratulations, that sound pretty much like my interview, we probably had the same lady.

I was quite bemused having jumped through all the previous hoops, how easy the interview was, not that I am complaining!!

Good luck for the future guys.

London is a pretty relaxed embassy and those of us who have our interviews there have a much easier time than people in other parts of the world. To our advantage have the assumption that we have no economic advantage in immigrating to the USA so all of us who attempt to do so must be doing so for love and not for a perceived better life.

So most people have nothing to worry about. My interview was a lot longer and I did have to show certain paperwork (my husband's J&S, for example). So I would always exercise caution in telling people they have "nothing to worry about". I had everything to worry about with a previous denial of a U.K. spouse visa for my husband and the circumstances behind that. I have seen a denial at the London embassy also.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

Obviously individual cases are different but I've seen a lot of people, myself included, building it up to be something scary which is what I meant by nothing to worry about. I wouldn't recommend to anybody that they shouldn't take everything they might need, of course it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

I would think most people in differing circumstances such as yourself would understand that I'm not saying that it'll all be easy no matter what.

Congrats! :)!!!

I have a question for the medical, did you need your packet 3? My fiancé and trying to see if we can proceed without it. Others have said they used a screenshot of CEAC etc... was curious about your experience. I’m sure people are tired of seeing me asking around LOL but I just want to make sure! Haha :P

:)

I don't even know what packet 3 is :P. All I needed for the medical was my passport, 4 photos, police certificate, my vaccination records, filled out medical questionnaire, my medical history and anything you have that details your visa category and case number.

Hey, thank you :)

You get a confirmation page which you must print out and take with you, it should be emailed once you've completed the ds-160 form. This picture is an example I found online which should hopefully show you what I mean :)DS160-application-confirmationPage.jpg
