Return Receipt Requested

When it says to send the petition with a return receipt requested, how do I do this?

When you take it to the post office, you request a return receipt.  They will have you fill out a little green card, and they attach it the envelope.  You get a receipt and tracking number.  Pay the fee and done.  You'll get the green card back in the mail with their signature on receipt.

 

If sent by FedEx, UPS, etc., it is not material, as they record receipt.
