K1 visa medical in London, I'm so scared people

Hi guys I'm new on here so if I miss or have missed somthing I apologise. Anyway to why I'm freaking out sooooo much, back in 2017 I had a breakdown because I was in a abusive relationship (verbal mainly) and I wanted out but was to much of a soft to get out alone even though I was in an abusive relationship I didn't want to hurt her feelings (God knows why), anyway so in January 2017 I had a breakdown because it was to much and went to my doctor saying I was having suicidal thoughts and was depressed, so he refered me to home help and I said stupid things like if I was to do it it cut or crash my car, and stuff like my cousin hung himself so why can't I. Things like that. Anyway to me and the home help team it was a huge cry for help to get me out of that relationship and I never actually tried to take my life or self harm at all.

Then while this was going on I met my now beautiful fiancé online (playing destiny on ps4 of all places) and now I have my medical for my k1 visa next Sunday 19th May and I am so so soooooo scared that they will deny me or somthing because that is written on my medical records, I have an overview of my medical records already, which explain everything I said and what meds I was on.  I also have a letter from my doctor that states " i am no threat to myself or anyone else" I never went for psych or anything like that and returned back to work in like February of that year so it was a very brief spell, and on my records it states that in July they called and spoke to me then says depression resolved. I'm just freaking out like crazy because when you see the words wanted to kill, and suicide it looks horrible and even though I had zero intention to kill myslef as it was a cry for help, it still states that I wanted to...

What do you think they will say guys I'm so scared, but on the other hand I'm like if I just explain it properly and take my letter off my doctor saying in my harm no more I should be OK.....

Relax and take a deep breath.

They look for the magical words "not a danger to themselves or others" in a letter like that---which you have.

Glad you were able to move on from your depression and suicidal thoughts in the past.  Best of luck continuing to move forward.

There is nothing at all to be scared of. You've done your part by obtaining the letter from your GP about the matter. Be honest on the forms they give you and discuss it all with the doctor at Knightsbridge. It is possible, in some cases, there may be a delay if the doctor feels you need an evaluation or some further detail, but it's nothing that will ultimately deny your case. Good luck, and try to relax as best you can. :)
