New day, same result. "You are eligible for an interview."

Seriously though...a week now to 'schedule' an interview?? I'm pretty sure I've spoken to every Visa Case Representative that works at the DoS by now......I'm completely boggled.

1-12-07 mailed to CSC

1-22-07 DHS cashes the I-129F check

1-23-07 NOA1 Notice Date

1-26-07 NOA1 arrives in the post

4-25-07 Touched!

4-26-07 Touched again!

5-3-07 NOA2!!! Two approval emails received at 11:36am

5-10-07 Arrived at NVC/5-14-07 Left NVC - London-bound!

5-17-07??? London receives?

5-20-07 Packet 3 mailed

5-26-07 Packet 3 received

5-29-07 Packet 3 returned, few days later than planned due to bank holiday weekend

6-06-07 Medical in London (called to schedule on May 29)

6-11-07 "Medical in file" at Embassy

6-14-07 Resent packet 3 to Embassy after hearing nothing about first try

6-22-07 DOS says "applicant now eligible for interview," ie: they enter p3 into their system

6-25-07 DOS says interview date is August 21

6-28-07 Help from our congressional representative gives us new interview date: July 6

7-06-07 Interview at 9:00 am at the London Embassy - Approved.

7-16-07 Visa delivered after 'security checks' completed

I-129F approved in 111 days; Interview 174 days from filing

Neal had his medical today and said it went really well. Apparently they were really laid back and nice in the office. They told him he needed his tetanus shot since he hasn't had one since 1997, but they still marked it as okay and said to get it done somewhere cheaper and it was no big deal. They gave him a form to take to his doctor to get a letter about his history of depression, and as soon as they get that back, they'll send it to the Embassy.

Still waiting on that P4 though. :whistle:

Happy Independence Day! I asked at work if I could have the day off as I need to practice having July 4th off - but unfortunately they didn't go for it.

I sent off my P3 forms and checklist this morning by special delivery, and i'm hoping for a mid-September interview date!

Met in Wales November 2004

Got engaged Feb 2007

Sent I-129F to NSC Mar 6th 2007

Embassy interview 11th Sep 2007

Arrived in US 15th Sep 2007

Married Oct 12th 2007

Sent AOS forms Nov 13th 2007

Biometrics Dec 14th 2007

EAD/AP received Jan 22nd 2008

Green Card interview Mar 23rd 2008

I hope you get an early interview too, however being a realist there is every chance that it is going to go to the wire. If you look at the dates in the list, August has a good cross spread of dates and when the forms were sent in etc. I would say that you will receive a date in Sept, but exactly when is the lottery. Hope concrete are your wedding plans and flight etc?

touch wood the interview will fall early in the month giving you plenty time etc. Good Luck

Hope so, too!! But hey - what's a wedding with a little extra stress, huh? Haha! We also have a planned date that we may or may not make. I just take robburnsefc's timeline as my ray of hope. They got moved through pretty quickly because of a planned wedding.

Did you put a firm date down for the wedding? Rob and I both did that and we got our interviews MUCH quicker than the people who sent in packet 3 at the same time without a firm wedding date. Don't know if it was coincidence or not, but worth a shot!

Good morning everyone. Well, I just called DOS, and they had originally told me that our file was sent out on the 27th, but I must have misunderstood, because today they told me it was sent out on the 3rd. So, I guess a bit more waiting. I have already received my notice from the NVC, maybe thats what they were referring to when they said sent out????? You would think I have learned patience throughout this process, but it's more like impatience!!!!

Called DoS again today -- after being on hold twice, still no notation that they received the checklist that we sent on June 20. Got the usual song and dance about not updating the computer, with the added fillip of "it was a holiday, maybe the mail didn't get delivered" -- eh? We sent the damn checklist two weeks ago, and July 4th isn't a UK holiday!

Grrrrrr. We call the extortion line tomorrow.
