Greetings to All,

My husband has his interview done on October 4th, 2017. He was requested some additional documents to submit and his passport was kept on the day on his interview, he submitted the documents within few days after the interview since then on ceac.state.gov website his immigration visa status is under Administrative Processing, case was created on Feb,2017 and last updated is Mar,2018. My husband has emailed to US Consulate in Islamabad, Pakistan almost every month to obtain his visa status, or if there is any other document is missing so he can submit but the only reply he receives that “your case is under AP, we suggest you to wait.” This is very frustrating and depressing moment for my husband and myself. Can someone assist me on this matter what should we do to speed up my husband’s visa process, it’s going to be eight months from his interview till now. please, have your words and its much appreciated.

Any red flags in your case?

Which documents they require?

What was told to your husband at the time of interview?

Secondly fill your time line.

As far I know, there is no red flag. per online status on ceac.state.gov the last update was from Mar 22, 2018 and underneath it has paragraph about Administrative processing.

At the time of the interview, they gave my husband 221(g) form in which additional documents they asked at the time of interview were as following.

-More chat history

-More pictures in which both of us are together

-Information about Affidavit of Support under Section 213A of the INA USCIS Form I-864. All these additional required documents were submitted to them via American Express courier center.

After few days submitting them above documents, they asked the personnel Questionaries’ to be filled out and email them so, we submitted the questionaries’ as well right away. All these additional required documents were submitted within the same month of interview which was OCT, 2017.

My husband was told at the time of interview to provide above 3 required documents with 221(g). Afterwards, we were asked about to fill out personnel Questionaries’ and submitted via email.

“Fill your Time Line,” would you please kindly explain me that what exactly you are trying to ask, I did not get your point.

Looking forward to hear back soon from you, and really appreciate your assistance, time and concern.

Thank you,
