Can I still visit America whilst my application is processing?

My papers are being filled in July to be sent off, but we wanted to do a trip to Orlando in October. Do I have to wait? Or can I travel as normal?

Yes, you can visit as usual, but only US citizens are guaranteed entry.. Just be prepared to present evidence that you will return to your country IF ASKED........Many, many people have visited the US during the process with no problems at all.

my fiance is currrently here visiting - while here she has scheduled her medical and hopefully soon her interview. 

 

as missileman said - you do need to be prepared to be turned away, but my fiance has visited multiple times now while the application was in progress (i think 3 times) and had no issues at all, not even a question. 

 

i think the only other consideration is where the person is flying to - i read on another thread (cant remember where) that someone was turned down at a smaller airport because the agents weren't used to this case.

Im visiting currently (2 month trip) & had no issues at Boston Logan border 😊 just asked who im visiting, when im flying back
