DS160 fees - help

I think today is the most I've posted since joining - I'm having a mare of a day.

I managed to submit my DS160 and everything went through just fine and I've printed out my confirmation page with barcode. I understand I now have to pay the fees online? I've gone to https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx to pay the fees and it asks for your case number - is this your I-129F case number (in my case WAC.....) or the NVC case number (in my case LND....)??

If I enter the WAC petition number it then asks for my DOB and whether I am the applicant. Once i put that info in it tells me my DOB is invalid, which it isn't.

If I enter the NVC case number it asks for my Invoice number which I put in, but when i click CONTINUE it comes up with this:

K visas are nonimmigrant visas that assist spouses or future spouses of American citizens in entering the United States. As with all nonimmigrant visa applicants, a DS-160 must be filled out in order for a consular section to process the case.

HELP :( :( :(

If I remember correctly, my fiance (Brazil) had to schedule his interview first, then pay the fee online.  I found this website:

https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/visa-information-services/nonimmigrant-visa-appointments/

and these items:

Online appointment booking system:  https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb

Call center:  The call center is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 am and 7:00 pm (local time; EST in the United States).   The call center is closed on all U.K. and U.S. holidays.

  • Callers within the United Kingdom should dial 020 3608 6998
  • Callers from the United States should dial 170-3543-9334

Good Luck!

Depending on the country, you usually have to schedule the interview first and then pay the fee. I wouldn’t worry about it until you get the go ahead from the consulate to schedule your interview.

London instructions Step 4. You have completed Step 1 (DS-160)

After you have attended your medical examination, you should then schedule your visa interview through the Visa Appointment Service website at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv and follow these instructions:

  • Select “I have received a letter from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a K visa appointment”;
  • Follow the onscreen instructions to register an account;
    • If you have children applying under your case number, you may “add” applicants to your account after you have added your own details.
  • You will be asked to select your delivery method for the return of your passport if your visa application is successful. Delivery to a courier depot is free. If you wish to upgrade to home/office delivery you can pay an additional fee through your account;
  • Pay the MRV application fee;
  • You will then be offered the first available interview date, but you may choose any available date. Note: You may schedule an appointment to take place after the petition expiration date, provided that you bring to your interview a signed letter from your petitioner confirming that you both remain legally free to marry and that you will marry within 90 days of your arrival in the United States.
  • Please go to “Print Instructions” in order to print your courier confirmation page. You must bring this with you on the day of the visa interview.
