I do recall hearing about an Australian who was arrested while being in the company of his filipino girlfriend's 10 year old daughter.  I thought that was at MOA or one of the SM malls in that area.

Reports like that surface from time to time.  Most pay a huge fine and get out of the country asap.

Here is another one last year, But whether the guy is a actually a pedo or just stupid who knows:  http://www.sunstar.com.ph/cebu/local-news/2017/11/02/suspected-pedophile-arrested-cebu-beach-resort-572632

I have never heard of anyone getting through the airport without the CFO sticker, while possessing a U.S. immigrant visa.    I have heard of many that were turned away at the airport because they didn't have the sticker ... told to attend CFO.

The issue is they won't let her board out of PH if they see the K-1 visa in the passport w/o the CFO sticker. At least that's my understanding...as a means to prevent people from doing exact this.

My understanding countries like Australia quit issuing Visa Labels a few years ago, and it is all electronic.  How would they know if they needed CFO to go to Aussie land?

No desire to look back.   I am the one saying - can't get out without CFO.

I would agree for the normal person, I can make things happen in Philippines if and when needed.  I learned that little trick early on in my adventures there.
