Some people have waited a couple years for a NOIR.  Congressman or Senator is your best bet for information in the meantime.

A Warning to Green Card Holders About Voting

For the OP.  I don't wish to raise unwarranted concern, but do wonder if it is possible the issue is more than a failure to provide a divorce decree.  Usually, USCIS would ask for that before approval.  They do make mistakes but the only legitimate reason for them not to ask for it, is if it was not disclosed in the first place.  THAT would be a far bigger issue than failing to include a supporting document.  If this doesn't apply to you, please disregard.  If it does, you have a far bigger issue at hand than a missing document.

Thank you for the replies.  I appreciate the help.  According to USCIS, the review period will end May 29.  I am assuming that I will get something after that date.  Any clue as to how long it takes to get that NOID/NOIR.

Did you received Noid/Noir?

Our case was returned to NVC 1/4/18

USCIS received from NVC 2/23/18

USCIS sent us NOIR 6/4/18

USCIS  confirmed receipt of our rebuttal 6/25/18

USCIS reaffirmed the case 7/9/18

Such a long process!! Our case just returned to NVC 11/26, and I really don’t know how I am gonna tolerate  this all.

Tarakazmi10001 thanks for sharing your timeline.  I can't believe we still haven't received anything from USCIS.  what are you waiting for now? Another interview? It's such a long process and I'm still at the very beginning.  Very upsetting.

Oh I thought that was your timeline!! You were talking in reference to another timeline.  I wonder what happens after case is reaffirmed.  From this timeline it shows that all cases are different and are processed in different times.  Why was your case returned?

I am a US citizen and I filed i130 for my spouse in november 2016.  He had his interview august 2017.  I was at the interview with my husband.  At the interview they discovered that I am missing a document from my previous divorce and based on that, his case was sent back to USCIS.  I have contacted USCIS and they said they need 180 days to review.   After that, I can inquire about it.   Can anyone guide me through this or offer insight if this is something they went through.  I am getting advice that I should refile. Is it true that the returned case may not be looked at.  Will it just sit there?  I also contacted the senator office and all they got out of USCIS is that the case is under review

Did you get any update like this?  What’s that mean? Please share your  experience!!

Case  was transferred to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by January 6, 2019, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

My case was returned for review, I think My case is more  similar to your case, but I did submited all the documents, and  they never ask for any  additional  documents during his interview.
