Confused Case of Same WAC Number and Official USCIS Website but Different Received Dates and Case History

greetings vjers!

i'm feeling very confused. i'm having 2 different information from the same wac number and uscis website.

sent k1 visa file to uscis: dec 20, 2017

uscis received k1 visa file: dec 21, 2017 (we used next day delivery)

noa 1: dec 27, 2017

so on our hard copy letter/snail mail letter we have received that our received date was dec 21, 2017 and that our noa 1 is dec 27, 2017.
so on my fiance's uscis account it says our received date is dec 21, 2017 and there are some updates in our case history (he changed his mailing address).

so on my uscis account it says our recieved date is dec 26, 2017 and there are no updates of the case history.

so this is what appears on my fiance's uscis account (i think this is the old version):
uscis1.jpg.556809d49e244b989b8f9bb0f4019589.jpg

5ab5e0e6d33f5_uscis2.jpg.521b8065af49785d07a0d637a88c801b.jpg

and this is what appears on my uscis account (i think this is the new version):

uscis5.jpg.481f3a8f006c0e64f0f61c8d41f5c5a7.jpg

uscis6.thumb.jpg.673dff72c69a0b8791b831a28cf89502.jpg

so what i would like to know is why there is a change or discrepancy between the two dates? which one is the right one or the one i should follow? this is all so confusing. same wac number, different received dates and case history on the same uscis website.

thanks for all the help guys! i appreciate it.

They started showing the date they sent the text messages which is usually 1day before they send out the noa1 (as far as I gathered cause mine is the exactly same situation) and count as submitted. However your received date is still the same as stated in your noa1 paper.

alright! thanks so much naes! i appreciate it.  i guess i'm more worried now about the case history. since they're both different. we need to make sure that my fiance's new mailing address is cleared with the uscis. don't want our noa 2 to go missing in the mail later on! hehehe!

Yes! That is important!

Just give them a call and ask about it, or check the address in your account if it is possible. I believe you can just say hey it’s different what’s going on? And they will puke help with that :)

hahaha! that's soo funny! yeah i guess i can ask my fiance to go give them a call since it's definitely weird. it's like playing tricks on us with the same wac number. but definitely important on the address. hopefully it goes well when he calls the uscis. hope you have a wonderful relaxing weekend!

so my fiance called up the uscis this week. a very grumpy tier 1 uscis officer answer his call after a very long wait. but after that conversation, we're just both left confused and my fiance upset.

1.  on mailing address update: "they probably updated it" is what the officer said but didn't confirm what my fiance's current mailing address is.

2. on the different case history with the same wac number: it's just the same. should not be different. (exactly! that's why we're calling you up to ask why) follow the petitioner's account (uh, in both our accounts we are the petitioner (cause i'm not some other person checking for someone and in the choices of joining you're either the petitioner or a legal person checking for someone or another person i forget). so we definitely don't know if we follow the new website or the old uscis one. i've been reading the new one. but i'm just really iffy about the case history why it's not the same. i'm ok with the different dates "submitted" and "received" but case history should totally be the same.

sometimes i feel hopeless with the uscis. if only i can call the uscis and ask for a tier 2. it got my fiance soo upset and he doesn't want to try to call anymore.
