How can I send the documents online for N400? What documents should I send?.i am divorced, Applying under 5-year Rule.

As you answer the questions on the screen, you will see what additional information you have to complete and near the end of it, in the Evidence tab, you will see what documents you need to upload and save, and what file formats are allowed.

Wanted to add also that you don't have to submit the application right away. You can start it with what documents you have now and keep the application active by signing into it and adding documents as they become available or reviewing the questions. Otherwise you could lose your work.

 

And even after you submit,  you can still add more documents.

You have already received all the information there is. 

 

When you apply online,  you will have to go through a million screens as they ask questions about you. 

 

At the very end of the process, there will be a screen where you upload all the documents they require (and they're all listed on the same page). You will need to scan any paper documents and save them in PDF format. Then attach them to the application.

 

If you don't know how to do this from your computer, someone will need to help you (an actual physical human, sitting beside you). Ask a teenager (or someone else who is good with computers.) 

 

If you really can't figure out how to upload a document online, (and you can't get anyone to help you) you'd be best to file by mail. If you file by mail, you will need physical paper copies of the required documents and you send them in the envelope with your application.
