Am just new in this site just like to asked who just have past there K1 application just last march??.. And like to ask how long does noa1 aprrove the petition.

hi jhenny, it actually varies from service center like Vermont is the fastest and I think from different nationals too, as I observed in their timeline here as an April filer some got there NOA1 earlier and as for my case we dont have yet the hard copy but CSC said they sent it on the 24th of April but nothing yet, it doesnt take long to arrive at Or, USA..

Jenny, normally take 10 days or so to get the NOA1. Since your case is at the CSC it will be another 80 to 120 days to get the NOA2 from the date of the NOA1. The average is around 90 days. Some sooner, some later. This is when you will get the actual approval or an RFE (Request for more evidence). Once you get your NOA1 in the mail you can go to the USCIS site open an account and have updates (touches, and RFE's or hopefully approval) emailed to you. There will be a period of time with no updates between the NOA1 and NOA2(this is where I am .) This is just alittle of all the information you will need. Fortunetly you will find everything you need on this site!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!

You get a NOA1 that says they recieved your petition. It is not approved. At this point your petition is pending. It will take about 90 days after you recieve your NOA1 to get approved which is the NOA2. Then your approved petition is sent to the NVC. It stays there from 1 to 4 weeks. If all is good then it is sent to the Embassy in your fiance's country. There are a few more steps after the embassy recieves it. Worry about that when the time comes. But you will be looking around 200 days(on average) from the time you sent the petition to having the actual visa. You can look at the "immigration timelines" up top to see how long it takes( on average) for your fiances visa from his/her country.
