One thing I learned from working almost 25 years on the Gulf of Mexico on various production platforms and drilling rigs is...never...never...piss off the cook or any of the galley staff (for obvious reasons). Ditto for the employees at a restaurant.

 I hate when I'm out at a restaurant with a group and one of the people gives the waitress a hard time for little or no reason. A few years ago I'm with a few friends when the table across from us got loud. One guy had been babbling on and on and wasn't eating his salad. The waitress came up to take away the salads and jerk-guy asks her 'does it look like I'm finished?' in a very rude and loud voice. She apologized and took away all of the other salad plates. A little while later she came with the meals and jerk-guy says something like, 'you take my meal back to the kitchen until I finish my salad and it better be hot when you bring it back'. This guy was like Mr Underhill from Fletch. I felt like saying, 'STFU and eat your food instead of babbling so the waitress can turn the table and people waiting for the table can eat after you'! This guy had the nerve to call the manager to complain. After they left our table called the manager to say the waitress was not only in the right but took a lot more $hit than any of us would have put up with.

Anyway, I'm guessing that jerk guy has eaten his share of pubes, saliva, bugs, etc and he deserved every bit of it!

Watch the movie "Waiting". It shows what probably happened to that plate of food in the back
