If your embassy allows you to book your own you proceed to do so. If your embassy is one of the ones that don’t then you wait for the email. You need to check your embassy website to see what the next step is. If your embassy allows you to schedule your own, you just go on AIS website and create an account and follow the instructions.

My embassy is London, so I believe I can schedule my own but I’ll check. Thank you

Hello, I have been reading threads about this. I have the same confusion. My embassy is in the Philippines. Mine says “in transit” too.

 

not sure if I should go ahead nd pay the visa fee, schedule an interview and so on...

 

or I should wait for it to say “READY”. 😑
