I just got married and my wife lives abroad. She has an international passport that she has been traveling with the problem now is that she changed her name to the married name so would she have to make another international passport or it doesn't really matter? Thanks for your help.

She can always change her passport. When moving to the US they will pay more attention if she has a right type of immigrant visa.

 

Just in case she should travel with that passport and marriage certificate.

There is no such thing as an "international passport". Sge has a passport from the country where she holds citizenship. Unless that country requires women to change their name upon marriage, the passport can be used as is. All tickets must be booked in the name on the passport.

It is not off topic I am filing for k-3 visa but her name is changed because she just got married and changed her to my last name. All I wanted to know is if she have to also make a new passport that will have the current name changed.

A K-3 visa is obsolete. You will most likely be applying for an IR-1/CR-1 visa.

 

As I said, unless the country of which she holds citizenship requires married women by law to take their husband's name, she can have whatever name she wants on her passport. If she wants to take your name, she will need a new passport. If she doesn't want to, or doesn't want the expense of a new passport, then the passport she has is fine. 

 

This is a passport question, not a visa procedural question..
