Hi everyone, I just want to know how long did you get your visa after your interview.

My wife just had her interview last March 1 for cr-1 visa application. Everything went smooth aside from the Cenomar, we didn't know that they would asked for my Cenomar.

After getting the Cenomar, we send it thru 2go and now we're waiting for the arrival of my wife's visa.

Anyone who has the same experience? please share it here.

Many IR/CR-1 experience this, as many seem to forget the CENOMAR for the interview.   Which is surprising as it is listed in the embassy instructions letter.   Figure another 1-2 weeks after the embassy receives the CENOMAR before the visa will be issued.   You can check status on the CEAC website.

We received an email containing the list of docs that we need to bring on interview. They specifically indicate that the cenomar they need was only for my wife. My wife and I had a feeling that they will need my cenomar as well.

Too bad, we didn't listen to our instinct. At any rate, everything went well as my wife's visa is has been issued. We are now waiting for the delivery of the packet and visa.

If the emailed list was from NVC it would not be complete and probably not contain the CENOMAR.  And that may be why so many immigrant visa applicants miss it for the interview.

Which is why I mention the embassy instructions letter to many.
