We send emails but no response from the embassy till now. Few days ago my fiancee had a major surgery and he is not well, i don't have also any update from embassy.

Is it possible to get a visit visa while waiting on K1 visa? What can i do and what can you advie me.

Please i need advice.

Thanks.

Everyone goes through AP. Some takes 2-3 days, some 2-3 weeks, 2-3 months, others, like yourself can be 1+ years. It's a standard procedure.

As to you getting a visitor visa, you can try; but I highly doubt with you having an open K-1 visa processing they would give you a tourist visa, you already have intent to immigrate to the US. Again you can try though....

At the interview, did they ask for any other documents or say approved then just been in AP?

Thank you for your reply, at interview the consular told me that they did not yet receive my medical report that once they receive they will call me. They never called so i called the clinic they said the same day i had the interview they sent the result. I sent an email to the embassy they replied saying we are under administrative procdure. No additional document were asked and my passport is with them over a year as well, our son had his passport and CRBA last year march.

So there is nothing to be done?

It's possible to get a tourist visa while your case is in AP, but realistically it's almost certainly not going to happen.

I hope your fiance recovers quickly. Best wishes.
