I applied F2B for my son while I was Permanent Resident and the PD is March 10,2014. Recently I became US Resident and my question is, is it a good idea to switch to F! or keep the F2B status?

Your son is already F1 after you became a USC, you have to update your status with NVC. You will be able to do opt-out to F2B later, if you will see, that this category moves forward faster than F1.

So your saying if you were in f2b and change to f1 I can do opt-out and go back in f2b
