I was wondering if anyone can tell me, while in the K1 Visa process, once my foreign fiance' arrives, can he go on a honeymoon...I mean outside of the US?

We were looking into going to Jamaica, but I don't know if he can travel or not.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mar. 1, 2007 Email stating NOA2 was hard copy sent to me.

Mar. 7, 2007 Hard Copy NOA2 arrived safely to me!

April 13 - April 22nd joining my guy in the UK for a much needed week of R&R!

April 27, 2007 Medical was successful.

June 21, 2007 INTERVIEW DATE

June 23, 2007 VISA IN HAND!

July 21, 2007 Arrived in USA! Together at last.

Aug. 7, 2007 MARRIED!!

Aug. 21, 2007 Mailed off AOS & EAD Application (along with a whopping 1010.00!!)

Aug. 22, 2007 Application is signed for at the Chicago Lockbox.

Simple answer. NO. You can delay your honeymoon to until you have AP or the GC.

Thanks for the help.

I guess we'll be staying in the US....

we're going out West for two weeks.

Gonna see things neither of us have seen.

We plan on going to Italy WAYYY later.

There will be something you guys will want to do state side! Ya'll will be together! That is what will make it great!

We wanted to go to Italy, but because of the whole visa thing, went to Hawaii. It was completely terrific! I highly recommend it. It's a different culture, but with all of the conveniences of the U.S. (and a common language).

No matter where you go, you'll be together, which is the most important thing. Have fun!
