Should i change my address?

So i have planned for my Roc to be sent off on March 3rd, i have compiled my package and it is all basically ready, my husband who serves in the Military has been told we need to move, not far so still in the same State and area, this move is planned for the week before we send off my ROC. my question is, should i do the form in the new address even tho i will have no evidence of co mingling in the new address or just leave it as is then change the address after i send it off? My husband says to just leave it as is, all our mail will be forwarded to the new address. Thoughts?

I would use the new address you're living at. We had something similar with our timing and appreciated that then didn't have to file any extra paperwork. If you move, you have to notify USCIS - a mail forwarding is not enough to meet their requirements. You would have to change it with USCIS within 10 days of moving, always.

So did you add a cover note to explain why you didn't include evidence of co mingling in the new address as you had only just moved?

USCIS will see that you have just moved and therefore they won't expect to see much documents with that address.

The exception perhaps your new lease/ living arrangements.

 

Your address as of the date you submit your I-751 is what needs to be listed under Mailing Address/Physical Address in page 2 of the form.

Otherwise you would be lying.

 

Also Item 22 in form I-751 says:

22. Have you resided at any other address since you became a permanent resident?

If you answered “Yes” to Item Number 22., provide a list of all addresses where you have resided since becoming a permanent resident and the dates you resided at those locations in the space provided in Part 11. Additional Information.

 

So all the information will be there for USCIS to see.
